Retro 15 years… – GITE sculptrice

I kept a very good memory of my sculpture at fine arts classes and I wanted to resume a different activity to change me of writing and drawing.

Clay modeling was a revelation and a real pleasure. I immediately felt that I was going to be able to speak through my achievements. I wanted to master all the stages of the realization of a sculpture, modeling of the Earth, enamelling, passing through cooking. I am a self-taught on the subject, and I much discovered empirically.

2005… 2006… 2007… seduction

My first creations focused on the expression of the feelings of seduction between humans. I was doing fingers entwined, couples who will touch, touch, respond…

Still inhabited by this desire to express the seduction, passion through these bodies in motion, came naturally to dance, the tango, the toreadors passes…

I had the opportunity to present my work at lovers, local shows around Poitiers. Encouraged by several Prize for sculpture amateur and contacted by gallery owners, I saw myself in different galleries in France.

2008… 2009… 2010… abstraction, a marine world to a terrestrial world…

My work then evolved into a much more abstract, less figurative world while maintaining a willingness to express this feeling of attraction and force, represented by the fingers. A little despite myself, I found myself in a “water environment” according to people who watched my sculptures. It is during this period that I created what I call “alveoli”, these dents in the Earth to meet growths, fingers.

Yet, today, I use these “cells”, on certain parts, such as metal bulls.

… the bull, a constant evolution

The bull winning a hit with lovers of art, I was led to achieve much. This allowed me to master it better and better and make it evolve, always looking for more strength possible. Highlighting certain parts to give it more character and by abandoning the will to stick to reality, I think have led today to what I wanted and I can not see how evolve. If I compare a bull of 2007 with one of 2015, I am always surprised by its difference.
